Sometimes in Life we trip and fall , if we do get up the only reason we do is because we need to be on our feet without realizing that the fall we took was for a specific reason or reasons. How often do we actually realize the learning’s that we can absorb from our experiences. Life in short is about learning, living and leading everyday as long as we inhabit some space on earth….
Life at it’s best would not get any better than what it is and as it is. We recollect lesser of the past and live more in the present and even thou it’s a fair idea to let go of the past in order to get on with our lives, we cant just discard the past and allow it to fall into oblivion mostly because, no matter how dark it may have been, it still taught us something about life..
We may be discouraged with the present and unhappy with the way things are, but probably this is the best that life has to offer at this moment…and remember life maybe dull this moment but it can always turn around at any moment….so keep the faith..
“The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.”
If you live long enough, sooner or later you will work for a terrible boss. I don’t know what your pet peeves are, but these two bother me the most: a boss who thinks he or she is too important to be bothered with the likes of me, or one who deems me so incompetent that my every move must be monitored and measured.
Today’s verse was written during a time when the gods people worshiped were either distant and detached or frantically orchestrating the events of life. They were moody, arrogant, and conniving—always looking out for themselves.
But here, the writer gives us a different picture of God—the one true God. He calls him our shepherd. A shepherd is neither distant nor controlling, neither indifferent nor smothering. Yet he is very present.
God demonstrates care for us by leading, protecting, and providing. He is aware of our needs and hurts and is responsible for our welfare. With a shepherd like that, what more could we want?
Creeping out of the shadows, the mystery of night unfolds itself like a lily , that depends on the moonlight to express its beauty to mankind. The hooting of the own, fills the lonely night and the moon peeping from behind the dark clouds, illuminating patches of dew wet grass….These happenings make one get lost.. in thought, the mind would wander, the heart would skip beats and we step into a world of fanstasy and just wish, it always remained this way…
In the end, happiness is simply living your life your own way. – There comes a time when your back is up against the wall and you realize all you can do is say, “Forget it, I’m doing things my way!” That’s the earth-shattering moment you stop planning for someone else’s expectations, and start making progress on what’s truly important to YOU. That’s when you begin to live life according to your own morals and values. That’s when you can finally be at your happiest.
You can best serve yourself and others by giving yourself what YOU need. – Don’t ask yourself what the world needs, ask yourself what makes you come alive, and pursue it at all costs. That’s what this world needs – people like YOU who come alive. Which means your needs matter; so don’t ignore them. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for you and your life, not just what seems best on the surface for everyone else.
You get to learn from your mistakes without unnecessary third-party pressure. – You’re going to mess up sometimes. But the good news is, as long as you’re listening to your intuition, you get to decide how you’re going to mess up. Which means you get to decide how you’re going to live and what you’re going to learn along the way.
No one knows you better than you know yourself. – How you seem to others and how you actually are, rarely match. Even if they get the basic gist of who you are, they’re still missing a big piece of the puzzle. What other people think of you will rarely contain the whole truth, which is fine. So if someone forms an opinion of you based on superficiality, then it’s up to them, not you, to reform those opinions. Leave it to them to worry about. You know who you are and what’s best for you.
Only YOU can define what’s possible for you and your life. – Some people will kill you over time if you let them; and how they’ll kill you is with tiny, harmless phrases like, “Be realistic.” When this happens, close your ears and listen to your inner voice instead. Remember that real success in life isn’t what others see, but how you feel. It’s living your truth and doing what makes you feel alive.
A million rays, beating down on an already scorched earth, wouldnt do much more then add to the misery of mankind. When the trials overtake the endurance levels and when the torture of living snatches away the joys of life..There still can be a ray of hope found in sheltering oneself against the odds….
